Holdings Classifications
Overview
Three simple lenses describe your Holdings (your “collection set” within the current view—selected wallet(s) and universe):
- Collection Focus (EC): how broadly your tokens are spread across collections.
- Curation Style (TopPick / All): whether you cherry-pick one best per collection or hold multiples.
- Value Concentration (Holdings Value Spread): whether a few items carry most of your value or it’s spread out.
Each lens shows a friendly label and a small visual so you can read it in seconds. These lenses are independent—you can be widely spread across collections, highly selective within sets, and still have value concentrated in a few grails.

Collection Focus (EC)
Understand how broadly your Holdings are spread across Art Blocks collections.
What you’ll see
- A label: Tight Focus / Focused / Balanced / Diversified / Wide Spread
- An EC indicator (Effective Collections) with a small spread visual
How it’s measured (one-liner)
We look at how your token counts are distributed across collections and convert that into an “effective number of collections.” Even spread → higher EC.
Labels (what each means)
- Tight Focus — Most tokens sit in one or a very small number of collections.
- Focused — Noticeable concentration in a few collections, with some breadth.
- Balanced — A mix of a few and several collections; neither narrow nor very wide.
- Diversified — Broad coverage across many collections.
- Wide Spread — Very broad coverage; tokens are widely distributed across collections.
EC is count-based only; it doesn’t use rarity or value.
Curation Style (TopPick / All)
Your holding style within collections: do you mostly cherry-pick one best per set, or do you hold multiples?
What you’ll see
- A label: Low Selectivity / Tilted / Mixed / Selective / Highly Selective
- A curation style indicator (compact visual)
How it’s measured (one-liner)
For each collection you hold, we take your highest-rarity token (your Top Pick). Adding those up gives TopPick. We also add up the rarity of all your tokens (All).
Curation Style = TopPick / All — closer to 1 means “one per collection”; lower means “more multiples.”
Labels (what each means)
- Low Selectivity — Holds many per collection; little emphasis on picking a single best.
- Tilted — Leans toward multiples but shows some selectivity.
- Mixed — A balance of one-offs and multiples across collections.
- Selective — Mostly one strong pick per collection.
- Highly Selective — Almost exclusively one “best-of” per collection.
Curation Style is rarity-only (no price). It complements Collection Focus (EC) and Value Concentration (Holdings Value Spread).

Value Concentration (Holdings Value Spread)
See how your value is distributed across items in your Holdings.
What you’ll see
- A label: Highly Concentrated / Concentrated / Balanced / Spread / Uniform
- A value-spread indicator with a short visual
How it’s measured (one-liner)
We look at each item’s valuation (NFTi) and assess how evenly value is shared—from very concentrated (a few pieces carry most of it) to very uniform.
Labels (what each means)
- Highly Concentrated — A small number of items carry most of the value.
- Concentrated — Value leans strongly toward a few items.
- Balanced — Several items contribute meaningfully to total value.
- Spread — Value is shared across many items.
- Uniform — Items contribute similarly; value is very evenly distributed.
This is a value lens. For rarity-only spread, see Collection Focus and Curation Style.
